"________? What are you doing, aru?" Yao asked, tilting his head to the side.
"Playing." You gave him a short and clipped answer as you held on to your old Gameboy for what was almost dear life, mashing buttons and chewing your lip.
He continued to look at you quizzically.
"Pokémon," you said after glancing up for a second then returning to your game. It was a fierce Gym Leader battle you were locked in.
"Aiyah," he sighed, his shoulders drooping. "It's always Brother's games."
"He makes good games," you stated.
Yao's so-called brother, Japan, was always making new video games. You offered to test them out for him sometimes, actually, and it was quite fun. Final Fantasy was a good series, and you were even able to get him to give you a few copies of ones you wanted to play. But recently you had salvaged an old Pokémon cartridge from the bottom of your desk drawer, decided you had to play it right then, and put off the new game that needed testing on the PS3 console for later.
Yao rolled his eyes, stood, and left to wander the house, leaving his pet panda at your feet. You couldn't be freed once you decided to play any video game, plus you had cute things in your room. Yao was always welcome at your house, as long as he cooked every once in a while to pay rent.
Didn't she have a stuffed Shinatty-chan the last time I was here? he wondered, casually peeking into your room.
He gasped. "It's so cute, aru!" he squealed, jumping onto your bed and cuddling the plush Shinatty-chan as soon as he saw it. "Eh?"
"Aiyah! ________!"
He sounded upset.
"What?"
He ran over and shoved a plush Pikachu into your face, frowning.
You blinked. "I thought you liked cute things," you said after a moment, pushing Pikachu away and pouting a little. After you found the old Pokémon game you went on a wild hunt for your old cards, games, even your stuffed Pokémon. You thought he might like them, they were so cute and all.
"But these are more of Japan's, aru!" he whined, holding up the stuffed Torchic in his other hand.
"So is Shinatty." You couldn't help but point this fact out as you reached up to your shoulder to pet his panda.
He pouted and grumbled something. You sighed and hit pause on your game, putting it down on the couch next to you. Adjusting his panda that was crawling on you so he wouldn't fall off, you stood and took the plushies from Yao. You brought them to your room and threw them back on the bed before heading back to Yao, grabbing Shinatty on the way out and tossing it to him. "Here," you said as he caught it and started to cuddle it. You plopped back onto the couch and unpaused your game, picking it back up.
"You really have to keep playing that, aru?" Yao whined from behind the stuffed kitty.
You were about to tell him yes, you had to, but his panda crawled down from your shoulder and into your arms and lap, blocking your game and successfully hitting the power button at the same time. You groaned and sighed, putting the game back down on the cushion.
At least I saved a while ago…
You watched the animal for something to do as it climbed around in your lap. "You need a nickname," you told the panda.
"Eh? I-It's not a Pokémon, aru!" Yao spluttered.
"But does it even have a name?" you questioned. You looked at it before smiling and announcing, proud of your limited abilities in Chinese, "Xiǎo Wáng!"
"Hah?"
"That's his name now!"
He sighed. "Whatever makes you happy."
You smiled at him, cuddling the panda. "Hn… Yao, I'm hungry. Will you cook for me?" you announced.
"What? Why?"
"I want Chinese."
"But why me, aru? You can cook for once!"
"If you don't want to cook, I think I have a few take-out menus somewhere."
"Those places are nasty, aru," he groaned, wandering towards the kitchen. You smiled, happy with your victory, and followed after him.
"Make rice!"
"Fine, fine… Noodles too?"
"Yes!"

China X Reader - Sunburned
You rested your head against the cherry oak desk, in total misery.
Today was the sixth day on your week long vacation to China to visit your friend, Yao.
You had been having a great time with your Chinese friend. Sadly, he couldn't get time off his job of taking tourists through Changbai Mountain. Refusing to let that take away your time with him, you accompanied him on every one of his trails, traveling the same path over and over, so you could be with him.
The only problems you had faced up until now were some sore legs and a couple of burrs on your shoes.
Unfortunately for you, five days of solid sunshine did not go without its consequ

:Overshadowed: Hong Kong x Reader
Disclaimer: I don't own Hetalia and certainly not England or Hong Kong! I don't own you either, but I suppose that should go without saying. =7=
You were a new country. Just barely scraping the bottom of the barrel in order to fund yourself and your small population, you were just starting to get the ball rolling and try to make a name for yourself.
When you checked the mail one morning, you didn't expect to see it. An envelope that was inviting you to join all these big shot older countries! You did a silent cheer that morning, you were getting recognized.
It wasn't until after the meeting that it got interesting. They rarely asked your

This is my 100th deviation, hurray for me!!! And this is also the first time that I'll be writing a China x Reader, sorry for any OOC-ness. I hope that I got it right, and I'm sorry if there is another story like this. I just got the idea from my head while cosplaying and, there you go! Other than that please enjoy~ (There is also a hint of UsUk) Sorry for the LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG delay...

"WE WON!!!" Alfred shouted in triumph as he broke the tie. You sighed in defeat and stared at the Chinese man watching you. "Arthur, we won~" Alfred sang as he went to his par

So, this is a little drabble I made. I wrote it a while ago, but I thought I lost it when my laptop crashed on me, but that is not the case, as I found it today and added to it! Yay! Sorry it's not really romantic... mur.
Anyway, I realize that a fun China fic like this might not be most appropriate for the date, since it's 9/11. I didn't realize until earlier this afternoon when I saw people posting things about it... (I write the date as 11-9.) But, I've heard about the incident a lot, and it's very, very sad. My thoughts are with those who lost their friends and family. Rest In Peace to all those lost.
Xiao Wang - I believe it's translated directly as "Little King." Plus, Wang is China's name , too, so~
I don't own Hetalia! Or China! Or Japan! Or Pokemon! Or FF! Or you!

Hey, hey, guess what? Those plushes were (most likely) made in China ;D
Also yes, 小王 literally translates to "Little King". I thought that's what you meant haha I read "The Little Prince" in Chinese (it was the first time I had ever read the story, too) and it was named 小王子, which means "Little Prince" (of course).
